You either have a bad bottle, or let it sit too long before lightly buffing the high spots. Once cured it can only be polished off with a polisher and compound for removal It requires a prep spray to a freshly polished surface. Yep that is crystal coat, not crystal seal. I can do a whole car in 30 - 45 mins tops, and that is me being real particular and taking my time. It is wet and kind of greasy, but flash dries real quick, just a quick wipe down to level it out is all it takes. Oh Crystal Seal? Yeah definitely something up with the bottle you have. comes out super thin, only needs a couple drops to do a couple square ft. Do they have both? this is the paint sealer. I was thinking of 1st applying Crystal Coat (Blackfire paint coating), then applying an hour later Blackfire Crystal Seal or Polymer spray. No matter how little i put on, it glazed and you then had to buff it to a shine. The bottle seems to suggest that the regular behavior should be wipe on and you're done unless you happen to apply too much. This stuff doesn't want to come off of itself without a fight. I then give it maybe 5 minutes and buffing out is extremely hard. The coating takes about 20 seconds after going down on the car before becoming tacky.
